Petlys

— The story of their life, built from moments, memories, and the events that shaped them

A Moment.
A Memory.
The Story.

Save the small moments as you go — a photo, a short video, an ordinary afternoon. They gather into memories. The memories become the story of their life, kept safely with the care details that matter.

— How Petlys works

Your pet's story feeds another.

Six steps, from joining to giving back. You capture and organize. The story grows. And a full bowl for a rescue pet happens the moment you join.

  1. 01

    You join

One pet, one membership. A quiet place made just for their whole life.

  2. 02

    You capture

Photos, videos, milestones, vet visits — the little things, saved in ten seconds.

  3. 03

    One place

Care details and documents, at a moment's notice. Share with vets, caregivers, or family anytime.

  4. 04

    The story begins

Moments become memories. Memories gather into chapters. Their whole life, quietly kept together as it unfolds.

  5. 05

    You share

A private link for a vet, a sitter, or family — as much or as little as you choose.

  6. 06

    You give back

Every membership fills a bowl for a rescue pet still waiting on their family.

— Step two & three · Memories, then the story

Turn the pages of a real story.

A moment becomes a memory the day you save it. Memories become pages. Pages gather into chapters. Flip through Willow's — from the day she came home to the golden years — to see what a life kept on Petlys actually feels like.

— Inside Petlys

A quiet place to keep the whole story.

Everything that matters, kept in one calm place. Their memories, their milestones, and the details a vet needs — all where you'd expect them to be.

Their story

The story of who they are.

Moments

Every small page, kept in order.

Medical records

Rabies, meds, labs — one tap away.

Emergency share

A link a vet can open in seconds.

— Why start now

The photo you'll want in ten years is the one you take today.

Not the milestone. The in-between.

A joyful golden retriever puppy with a wet nose and a wide open mouth

Day 1

The face you couldn't stop staring at.

A caramel toy poodle held close by their person on a beach

The years between

The way they fit exactly in your arms.

A red dachshund on a soft blanket at the vet, tongue out

The scary afternoons

The visit you were sure would be bad news.

A small white pomeranian held close against a woman's shoulder outdoors

Ten years from now

The photo you'll wish you had a hundred more of.

"I thought I'd remember. I didn't.
I'm so glad I started when I did."

— Every kind of love

Not just dogs. Every life you'd miss.

The budgie who lands on your shoulder at 6pm. The guinea pig your kid named twice. The pig who follows you like a dog. If they have a name in your house, they belong in the story.

— A letter

I built Petlys because of one chaotic afternoon with Woo.

I'd just moved from Texas to Florida with Woo.

When he needed an emergency vet, I was standing there trying to remember everything that mattered — rabies records, medications, history — while all I wanted was for him to be okay.

In that moment, I realized something that never left me: the things that matter most — the records, the milestones, the tiny details of their life — shouldn't be hard to reach when every second counts.

Petlys started from that place. A quiet spot to jot a quick note about a new diet, a funny habit, a milestone. And a safe home for the medical records that can get your pet help in time. Because our babies can't tell their own story when it matters most — but we can keep it ready for them.

— In their words

What families tell us.

  • I started using Petlys the day I adopted her. A year later, I opened it on our anniversary and cried at my desk. Every walk, every vet visit, every silly video — all waiting.
    Anna
    with Juno · Brooklyn, NY
  • Our sitter had his whole life in one link. Meds, the food he actually eats, the vet's after-hours number. She sent it back saying she wished every family did this.
    David
    with Otis · Austin, TX
  • I open Petlys on slow Sunday mornings with coffee while she naps in the sun. Every silly video, every muddy paw photo — it's all there, and it makes me love her more.

— What your membership actually does

Every membership is a full bowl somewhere.

While you're keeping your pet's story here, someone is up at 5 a.m. mixing food for twenty others — in a garage, a spare bedroom, a shelter that's quietly running out. They pay for it themselves. We didn't want to build another pretty app while that stayed true.

So a fixed share of every Petlys membership goes straight to the volunteers and small rescues doing that work. Not to a big national charity with an office in the middle. To the person feeding the pets in front of them, today.

In real terms, that share pays for the boring, unglamorous things rescues run out of first: bags of food, vaccines, flea and tick, transport to a foster, the vet bill that shows up the week they can't cover it.

No ads. No data sold. No fine print. Every dollar we send is published every month, by rescue, with receipts you can read. If it didn't happen, it isn't on the page.

Your pet's story helps write the next one's.

— Keep writing their story

Their whole life, kept like the gift it is.
