We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Accessibility isn't a one-time checklist — it's an ongoing part of how we design and build.

• Semantic HTML with proper headings, landmarks, and lists.
• Keyboard-navigable interface with visible focus indicators.
• Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked as such.
• Color contrast that meets WCAG AA for body text.
• Form fields with associated labels and helpful error messages.
• Support for the operating-system reduced-motion preference.
• Icon-only buttons carry accessible labels for screen readers.

We know we're not done. Areas we're actively refining:

• Deeper screen-reader testing across NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver on a wider range of flows.
• Captions and transcripts for any video content we add.
• Full mobile touch-target audit at 44×44 minimum.

If you use assistive technology and hit a barrier, please tell us — it's the fastest way for us to fix it.

Some parts of Petlys rely on third-party services (for example, authentication, payment processing). We do our best to choose vendors that meet accessibility standards, but we can't guarantee the accessibility of content or interfaces we don't own.
